Terms of Service
The contract between you and Prerode when you use the site. This page is a placeholder. The binding document will be added once a UK solicitor has signed off the marketplace structure.
What this document will cover (checklist for review)
- Eligibility and account rules (age, country, one account per person).
- Our role as a marketplace operator, not a party to the sale itself.
- Permitted and prohibited content, with a cross-reference to the Acceptable Use Policy.
- Trader vs private seller disclosure (DMCC Act 2024, s. 226), with a cross-reference to the Selling Agreement.
- How we moderate listings and messages, and the grounds on which we can suspend or close accounts.
- Reporting and dispute process between users.
- Our liability and the limits of it (consumer rights preserved where applicable).
- Changes to these terms, notice period, and continued-use acceptance.
- Governing law (England & Wales), jurisdiction, and ODR / ADR signposting.
- Operator identity: company name, registered office, company number, VAT number, contact email.
