Acceptable Use Policy

What may be listed: complete bikes, frames, components, accessories, with condition rules and required photos.
What may not be listed: covered in full in the Prohibited Items Policy (stolen goods, recalled safety items, items the seller does not own, replicas of branded items, non-compliant e-bikes, anything unlawful in the UK).
Prohibited conduct: harassment, threats, hate speech, doxxing, sharing private information, sexual content, content involving minors.
Marketplace manipulation: shill bidding, fake reviews, off-platform price coordination, sock-puppet accounts, scraping or bot use.
Off-platform contact and payment circumvention: when it is allowed (inspection arrangements) and when it is not (avoiding fees, scam patterns).
Anti-fraud rules: misrepresenting condition, hiding defects, false provenance, stolen-bike resale.
Direct messages: prohibition on scam links, payment requests outside agreed methods, abusive language.
Intellectual property: trademark and copyright respect, takedown route for rights holders (notice-and-takedown procedure).
Reporting violations: how users report, what we do, response times.
Consequences: warning, listing removal, message restriction, suspension, permanent ban, recovery of fees, referral to law enforcement.
Appeals: how a suspended user contests an enforcement action.
Online Safety Act 2023 alignment: illegal content, child safety, complaints handling.
