Today
Prerode currently uses only first-party functional cookies needed to keep you signed in and to remember your session preferences. We do not run any analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies at this time.
Because we only use strictly necessary cookies, PECR does not require us to ask for consent before setting them. If that changes (for example if we add an analytics provider) a consent banner will appear and your choice will be stored before any non-essential cookie is set.
What this document will cover (checklist for review)
- The cookies and similar technologies we set, grouped by purpose (strictly necessary, functional, analytics, marketing).
- For each cookie: name, provider, purpose, duration, and the lawful basis.
- Third-party cookies set by embedded services and a link to those providers' own policies.
- How to withdraw consent and how to clear cookies in major browsers.
- Other client-side storage we use (localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB) and what we put in each.
- Pixels, beacons, fingerprinting: explicitly stated even if absent.
- How we notify you of material changes.
